"Imposter": A Sneak Peek into Star Trek: Picard Season 3 Episode 5

The latest episode of Paramount+'s Star Trek: Picard, "No Win Scenario," has just dropped, and we're already getting a sneak preview of the next episode, "Imposter." Directed by Dan Liu and written by Cindy Appel, this episode finds Jean-Luc Picard (Sir Patrick Stewart) caught by Starfleet and facing court-martial. Paranoia sets in as Picard tries to determine whether a prodigal crewman from his past has returned as an ally or an enemy determined to destroy them all.

In a preview clip from the upcoming episode, we see Raffi (Michelle Hurd) and Worf's (Michael Dorn) training session being interrupted by an encrypted Starfleet Intelligence message from Worf's handler. Todd Stashwick, who plays Captain Shaw, joins Wil Wheaton to discuss his lifelong "Star Trek" fandom and his return to the franchise as the commanding officer of the U.S.S. Titan, Liam Shaw.

In addition to the sneak peek, viewers also get a glimpse of the history of the Changelings, the science facts behind the science fiction in the current episode, and more. The show's third and final season features an all-star cast, including LeVar Burton, Jonathan Frakes, Gates McFadden, Marina Sirtis, Brent Spiner (as Lore), Jeri Ryan, and Michelle Hurd alongside Stewart.

New cast members include Amanda Plummer as the mysterious alien captain Vadic, Mica Burton as Ensign Alandra La Forge (Geordi La Forge's daughter), Ashlei Sharpe Chestnut as Ensign Sidney La Forge (Geordi La Forge's eldest daughter and helmsman of the U.S.S. Titan), and Todd Stashwick as U.S.S. Titan Captain Liam Shaw.
